Strategy, naming, writing

Cognitive decline leaves mom or dad compromised.

Isolation leaves a life’s worth at risk. The need for support needs oversight and management.

Startup ideas start with a problem. And a gap. And then, from friction and frustration, a sense of purpose.

That’s the heartfelt story for Lindsay, Tiffany, Bryan and the team.

Waywiser is a tech-enabled solution for a tech-exasperated problem.

Awful people have always targeted seniors. In the past maybe it was a knock at the door. Today any digital scam in the world can test the fences. And the feedback loop is fast. Nefarious minds get smarter, make changes, and try again with whatever’s working.

The WayWiser answer is to stay in touch. Informed contact and shared control can make all the difference.

We tried to capture that in the tagline.

Get connected. Stay protected.

(We also named Word To The Wise, where you can pick up tips to deal with tricks.)

Thanks again, Steve, for the referral. We first worked with Steve when he was CEO of OneSpot in Austin. Then we worked on the creation of Cityside (and supplied its tagline) when Steve was Executive Chairman. And we’re particularly proud of the name Recode the Quo, a right-on, mission-driven org Steve co-founded.

“Hiring Letterhead was one of the unexpected joys of our early start up days. Understanding how they think opened up a whole world I didn't even know existed! Years later, our name regularly comes up in conversations. The next time I need help, Letterhead will be my first call.”
